Check Williams County 24-Hour Releases

A Williams County 24 hour release list would answer who left local jail custody during a same-day window. No official rolling list is published. To search for people released in the last 24 hours, use the CCNO booking history, current custody report, court record, notification service, and a focused release-record request together. Williams County releases require care because the regional jail serves several counties and holds some people for other agencies. A missing name may point to a true community release, but it may also mark a transfer. The release timestamp and disposition settle that difference.

Williams County 24-Hour Releases

Williams County does not have an official web feed that lists everyone released from jail in the past 24 hours. Local custody is handled by the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio, or CCNO, in Stryker. CCNO publishes a current active-offender report and recent booking reports. The Williams County Sheriff does not publish a separate county-jail release feed. The distinction is basic but vital: a booking records entry into custody, while a release records departure from custody.

The CCNO inmate search warns that its information changes fast and may not be current. A person who has just left may disappear from the active population before all other sources reflect the event. Another person may remain listed while staff finish processing a court order. CCNO advises callers to use 419-428-3800 when the online data is not enough.

Verify the event: Absence from the active CCNO report is not proof of freedom. Confirm the release time, type, and destination with the CCNO record and the controlling court.

A same-day check should also identify the jurisdiction. CCNO serves Defiance, Fulton, Henry, Lucas, and Williams counties. Its court and arresting-agency fields help isolate a Williams County case from the rest of the regional population. A federal label or outside-county court points to a different record chain.

Check Williams County Same-Day Releases

Because there is no compiled release feed, build the answer from sources that describe different parts of the same custody episode. Start with the person's name and CCNO booking number if known. Use a date of birth or case number only to avoid a mistaken identity. The Williams County released inmate search gives the broader path for one named person.

  1. Search the CCNO named booking interface by first and last name. Add the booking number or a booking-date range when available.
  2. Compare the booking with the current active-offender report. A historical match that is absent from the live list shows that the episode is no longer active there, but not why it ended.
  3. Read the court and arresting-agency fields. Follow a Williams County Common Pleas matter in the county docket, or use the Bryan Municipal Court record when that court is shown.
  4. Check Ohio VINE for the precise event wording. A general release and a transfer are separate events and must stay separate in any account.
  5. Call CCNO, then request the release data when the exact physical departure matters. Ask for the release or transfer date and time, disposition, authority, and public destination.

Search ODRC only when the court or CCNO record points to state-prison commitment. An ODRC incarcerated result means the person moved from the regional jail into state custody. For a federal detainee, consult the federal docket, USMS chain, and BOP after designation. Neither movement belongs in a community-release list.

Note: Keep the report's as-of time with your notes because the active CCNO population can change more than once in a day.

Williams County Release Fields

No public CCNO table supplies these release fields as a rolling 24-hour product. They are the fields to seek in the existing release log or booking/release packet. A tight request gives staff enough detail to match the correct booking and avoids asking the office to create a new research report.

FieldWhat it establishes
Legal name and aliasesIdentity tied to the custody episode
CCNO booking numberThe unique regional-jail booking to reconcile
Admission date and timeWhen that CCNO custody episode began
Release or transfer date and timeWhen physical custody at CCNO ended
Release disposition or typeBond, recognizance, sentence completion, court order, or transfer
Releasing authorityThe court or agency that authorized the departure
Public transfer destinationWhether another custodian received the person

A court entry may show the legal basis before CCNO completes physical processing. Preserve both timestamps if they differ. Do not turn the order date into the release time. Likewise, an estimated out date on an active row is prospective and can change. It never substitutes for the completed departure field.

The successful manifest image of the CCNO booking-report page shows the previous-day and previous-seven-day choices that actually exist.

Williams County CCNO booking report links, not a 24-hour release list

Those links support admission research, but neither one identifies who left CCNO during the same-day release window.

Request Williams County Release Records

The strongest fallback is a focused public-record request to CCNO, the office that created the jail record. Submit it by email to ccnoregional@gmail.com, by phone at 419-428-3800 ext. 201, by mail, or in person. The records office lists weekday hours from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and charges $0.25 for each single-sided letter-size page. Electronic copies may reduce paper cost, but free delivery is not promised.

Sheriff Thomas Kochert's office is the separate source for Williams County Sheriff arrest, incident, or transport records. Send the custody and physical-release request to CCNO because that regional facility created the jail packet.

Ask for existing records sufficient to show releases between an exact start and end timestamp. Limit the request, where possible, to Williams County commitments or arresting agencies. Request the booking number, release timestamp, disposition, and public transfer field. Under Ohio Revised Code 149.43, the office must make nonexempt records available promptly for inspection and provide copies within a reasonable period. It need not create a custom report that it does not keep.

Medical data, protected investigatory material, witness information, Social Security numbers, and security-sensitive facts may be withheld or redacted. A narrow request can still return the core release fields. For a longer comparison period, the Williams County 72-Hour Release List explains how to frame a three-day request without mistaking the seven-day booking PDF for release data.

Note: Ask CCNO to identify the legal basis for any withheld part instead of assuming a redaction defeats the whole request.

Williams County Custody Outcomes

The active CCNO report answers a narrow question: who is reported in that facility now. Presence supports current custody. Absence supports only that the person is not on that snapshot. The historical booking interface may retain a booking, though CCNO promises no online archive depth or post-release retention term.

EvidenceCareful conclusion
Listed on active CCNO reportCurrently reported in CCNO custody
Historical hit, no active hitBooking is not active at CCNO; outcome still needs proof
CCNO release time plus community dispositionPhysical release from CCNO is documented
ODRC incarcerated status after CCNOTransfer to state prison, not community release
BOP, USMS, ICE, or another holderPossible continued custody under another authority

Bond, recognizance, dismissal, time served, sentence expiration, and a court order can end local jail custody. They do not all mean the same thing. Bond leaves the criminal case open. A transfer ends the CCNO placement without ending government custody. Parole and post-release control mean a state prisoner left prison but remains under APA authority.

Williams County Bond Release Status

The Williams County Common Pleas Adult Probation program can divert an eligible defendant from local jail while the case awaits sentencing. Court conditions may include no-contact limits and reporting to probation. “Released on bond” therefore describes physical release with a live case and continuing duties, not dismissal or case completion.

For a sound same-day finding, match three records. The active CCNO report no longer lists the booking. The Municipal or Common Pleas docket supplies the bond or release order. The CCNO packet provides the physical departure time. Another case or holder may still delay release even after one court signs an order, so the order alone should not be read as a gate time.

Bryan Municipal Court handles relevant misdemeanor and traffic cases as well as felony preliminary stages. CCNO's Court field tells which record to follow. Read the individual bond order because the research found no universal dollar bail schedule for the court.

Williams County Booking Report Difference

CCNO's official “recent” products cover bookings from the previous day and previous seven days. The active PDF covers the present population. None is an official 24-hour release feed, and CCNO states no fixed post-release online retention window. These local facts explain why comparing a booking report with the live roster can suggest a change but cannot name the outcome.

A prior-day booking row includes the name, booking number, booking time, demographics, arresting agency, charge, status, severity, court, and case. It tells when someone entered. It does not show that the same person left that day. A person could still be held, could have bonded out, or could have moved to another custodian. Only the release field and disposition resolve that fork.

For notification, CCNO participates in Ohio VINE. A VINE event can corroborate a general release or transfer reported by the custodian, but it is not a certified release record. Record the event wording exactly and take it back to CCNO or the court.

Note: A seven-day admissions report cannot be trimmed into a one-day releases list because the event type is still wrong.

Williams County Release App Limits

No official Williams County Sheriff or CCNO jail-information app was found that displays same-day releases or booking photos. CCNO refers to a ConnectNetwork app for account and communication functions. That service is not a roster, not a 24-hour release list, and not a substitute for the regional jail's records office.

The absence of an app leaves the official channels clear. Use CCNO's live and named-booking tools for status clues, the court for the legal order, VINE for an event notice, and CCNO records for the physical release. This chain is slower than a single feed, but each source answers a defined question and reduces the risk of calling a transfer a release.
